Notes from those pages

Specifications are taken from the Bambu Lab US and Asia P1S product pages and the official P1 series FAQ. The two stores did not show the same price on 23 October 2026.

The US store shows 579 USD on the P1S product page. The box list for the P1S names the printer, a stainless-steel hotend, a build plate, PLA filament, an unclogging pin, a power cable, and, on the Asia page, an accessory box. AMS units are listed as combo add-ons, not as part of that box. On the same day the Bambu Lab Asia store, the storefront that serves Singapore, displayed 'From 399 USD', tax excluded. That Asia figure is a starting price across configurations, not a confirmed Singapore checkout total, so it is not the price stored above.

Both the US and Asia product pages list 256 × 256 × 256 mm³. They also say the default printable height in Bambu Studio is 250 mm.

The product page lists one maximum build-plate temperature, 100 °C, with no voltage split.

The comparison table lists the P1S shell as enclosed, plastic and glass. The product FAQ calls it a fully enclosed printing chamber.

The P1 series FAQ answers 'Is the heated chamber of the P1S actively heated?' with no. It says chamber temperature increases from the heated-bed setting and cannot be precisely controlled. The product page lists a chamber temperature regulator fan with closed-loop control. That fan is not described as a heater.

The product page says an AMS combo is required for multi-color printing and that four AMS units reach up to 16 colors. The P1S box list does not include an AMS. The page also says AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1 and P1 series printers.

Why this ASA/ABS label: The product page lists ABS and ASA as ideal filaments and PA and PC as capable. It lists a fully enclosed shell, a 300 °C hot end, a 100 °C bed, and an activated-carbon filter. The FAQ says the chamber is not actively heated, so the label is 'Enclosed, not actively heated'.

From the spec sheet

  • ABS and ASA are listed as ideal filaments, not only as capable filaments.
  • The shell is described as fully enclosed plastic and glass.
  • An activated-carbon filter is included and is described as a provision for ABS odour and gases.
  • Maximum hot-end temperature is 300 °C and maximum bed temperature is 100 °C.

Limits in the spec sheet

  • The official FAQ says the chamber is not actively heated and cannot be precisely controlled.
  • The included nozzle is stainless steel. The FAQ does not recommend printing glass-fiber or carbon-fiber filament before an extruder and hotend upgrade.
  • The stored price is the US store's 579 USD. The Asia store's Singapore-relevant page only showed a 'from 399 USD' starting price.
  • Published volume is a 256 mm cube, with a 250 mm default printable height in Bambu Studio.
